The Person In The Picture Ain't Me
Kareen King is an Activities Director who has taken the words of nursing home residents to heart. I am touched by her love of remembering those that have came into her life. Listen to her music, if you are able, and you will feel for those in nursing homes also.
I have not been in the nursing home environment for as long as she has, yet I feel a need to document those that have entered into my heart. I reflected upon those who have passed away at the location that I work. I tried to remember the names and faces of others who have passed before today. I wanted to record my memories of them. Therefore, I started this blog.
Personal privacy is to be respected. I should not, would not, go into their medical condition, financial status, or private aspects. Human dignity is a high moral standard I am to follow. Federal regulations are governing watchdogs that I have to abide by.
This is for my own comfort. If you chance upon this blog, I pray that you will also find understanding of the value of the individual's life that I will be giving reflections upon.
